fireand-blood sent me this image of Tsar Alexander I and Napoleon explaining:
“ this particular image is a screencap that I took about a year ago from the PBS documentary about Napoleon. I’ve done so much research regarding its creator/context/whatever that it’s not even funny. The most I can gather is that it’s “propaganda” of its time, likely Russian as Russians are famous for being super huggy/kissy, and that it’s an attempt to show the treaty between Czar Alexander I and Napoleon in a positive light? “
So, my friends, it is not longer just a mere fan creation, it is an OTP shared by Russians of the early 19th century. We are in good company when it comes to this beautiful OTP.
Buon inizio di Primavera!!!!!!!!!!
